Corrosion Protection:
Critical considerations in filter press selection often are corrosion
protection long-term reliability of machine functions and design and
material of filter plates. These must be resistant to extremely
corrosive, mechanical and thermal influence. The proven design of
Andritz filter presses for diffcuilt and aggressive applications is
worldwide accepted.

Polypropylene cladding:
e.g. for H2SO4 applications.
Stainless steel cladding:
for fod and beverage applications e.g. for beer mash.
Rubber coating of all wetted parts:
for extremely aggressive applications e.g. dilute acid recycling.
The special plate suspension
system (space bars and traverse) and the tarpaulin over the plate pack
protects the plate transport mechanism of the overhead beam filter
press from contamination and ensures a clean and fault free operation.
