Modular System:
Due to the multiple requirement for industrial and municipal applications. Andritz produces modular design filter presses. In addition to the basic design of the filter press, various modular components - as far as possible made from corrosion proof stainless steel - can be selected. Therefore different filter press designs can be manufactured to suit individual process requirements.

Plate Transport Systems:
Side bar design:
  • Automatic shifting of filter plates (cake discharge)
  • Hydraulically variable shifting speed.
  • Plate retention with sticky filter cake.
  • Drive protected from contact with the product.
Overhead beam design:
  • Automatic shifting of filter plates (cake discharge)
  • Individual interlocking of filter plates.
  • Drive protected for contact with the products.
In response to customer requirements, we have continued to extent the bound aries of mechanical design and equipment automation. As a consequence we are in a position to offer various cake discharge systems - depending on the application - both for sid ebar and overhead beam designs. Under certain conditions, even existing installations can be subsequently automated.

Cake Discharge Systems:
Side bar design:
  • Fully automatic cake discharge with slightly sticky filter cake.
  • Optical monitoring of filter cake discharge.
Overhead beam design:
  • Fully automatic ckae discharge with slightly sticky filter cake.
  • Adjustable frequency - depending on discharge behavior of filter cake.
